Goleta Sanitary District is Committed to Your Health and Safety

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all aspects of our community.

Now more than ever, the Goleta Sanitary District remains committed to our mission of protecting public health and our environment through the ongoing collection, treatment, recovery and disposal of wastewater for our community.

Through this crisis we will continue our part to keep you and our environment safe. With so many people home all day there’s a lot more water going down the drain. Our crews are working hard 24/7 to keep our systems up and running. However, there are some things you can do that will greatly help us meet our mission:

Know What to Flush: The Three P’s

Paper towels, wet wipes, cleaning wipes, cosmetic wipes, and feminine hygiene products should never go in the toilet. Only human waste and toilet paper are OK to flush!
